Just saw the Lamborghini Aventador S light, the model we had been waiting for since last week when we saw the teaser. It differs with an ‘S’ in its name and we will also have other important innovations like a more aggressive aspect or an increase of power.

At the rear, the three-position spoiler excels the black rear diffuser that integrates the three exits of the exhaust or wheel arches inspired by the Countach. All these elements also help improve your downforce. It increases by 130% in the front, 50% in the rear.

The engine will remain the same 6.5-liter atmospheric V12, but it also receives improvements. Now develops 740 hp (before 700 hp) and 690 Nm of torque. It is linked to a seven-speed automatic transmission and can now rise to 8,500 rpm (up to 8,350 rpm). The performance also improves and the Aventador S accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.9 seconds and its maximum speed is 350 Km/hr.

This is due to a contained weight of 1,575 kg, having a ratio of 2.31 kg / CV. But also its behavior will be improved thanks to a four-wheel steering system, which makes it more agile and stable. It will influence in this aspect the adaptive suspension or the carbocerámicos brakes that manage to the brake of 100 to 0 km / h in only 31 meters.

Inside the Lamborghini Aventador S, we will find a new fully customizable digital instrumentation. The already known driving modes Strada, Sport and Corsa are added the Ego, a mode that allows the driver to configure all parameters to their liking. The face washing of the Aventador will arrive from spring of 2017 and its price in Europe starts from 281,555 euros.
